Hey guys - My ingersoll rand compressor (Dual Stage inline pump, 5 HP, 60 Gal) installation manual specificies that a 15" clearance must be kept between the compressor and the wall. I think this is primarily for air cooling.
So, question: How many of you actually follows this spec? It really puts the compressor out from the wall a ways.
It got me thinking we I saw bmwpower's compressor install in another thread. I'm currently in the process of rearranging the garage and so now is the time.
Important or not?
If it matters, I'm in a mild climate in the pacific northwest and rarely do I use it enough to get the pump running continuously.
