I posted a video like a week or so ago of the Dremel Vaccum Rotary Tool sucking it up. Not in a good way.
Just like AvE mine was junk and was incapable of doing anything really. I kept thinking about it and eventually just took it apart to poke around inside. I found that the bearings were no good. Either they were never lubricated or the lubricant degraded but the thing turned like it was in Molasses. I soaked down the bearings with some PTFE spray and it's a whole new tool. It's fixed!
It's still really whimpy but it can kinda do stuff now. At least as well as a 4.8V rotary tool which is what the packaging claims.
I did a video revisiting the same things I tried before showing how it works now, along with showing the innards.

I'm still hoping Dremel will contact somebody who's made a video on this thing to get an idea what's really going on. Seems like maybe a supply chain problem resulting in everyone getting garbage?

) I prefer it to a drywall saw. I really hate using those.
