does anyone have any pros or cons about one VS the other or whether to get one bc its be a smarter move???

Assuming everything else, save cost, is the same, then the question becomes "is the adjustibility worth it to you?"

Adjustments usually comes at a price of strength or weight. An adjustable bench will have more failure points, specifically the adjustment mech. The bench itself may not be as stiff, which matters with some types of work, not with others. Who NEEDS an adjustable bench? Someone who only has a single bench that needs to do some wildly different stuff.

BTW, if I had room for one, I'd be looking at getting a trip to Sam's Club.

You also probably get a loss of storage space for the adjustment mechanism. It's really only beneficial to have an adjustable work bench if you're working on something small (you want a higher work bench) or something large (lower work bench, but these normally don't get low enough for that to be beneficial).
