Fixing concrete cracks

The concrete in my garage is cracking, yes its because my garage is sinking on one side. I know the right way would be to tear it up and start new but I'm not going to go with that option. What I really want to do is coat the floor but the cracks are stopping me from doing so. Is there any products to fix cracks and fill them in ?

I know there are other products, but plastic auto body filler works great, is cheap and available just about anywhere.

Really ? How well does it do in the cold ? I know a ton of bondo will crack over time, but this plastic stuff is different ?

im in the same boat...i have 1 crack going from the left to the right, and it is sunken by 1/4 inch, so it makes leveling very difficult

If the concrete shifts, yes it will crack. It's not flexible. A gallon of body filler will fill a pretty good sized crack. As for the cold, I don't know of any reason there would be a problem. Most fillers will shrink so a second application may be required.

I filled the seam between two slabs in my garage with bondo. That was like 2 years ago. The filler has held up but I never coated the floor with epoxy and the edges have kinda started to lift. Probably lack of adheasion and nothing to really help smooth that transition from concrete to filler.

Now when I said bondo cracks, I know if you use a lot on a car it will crack, but then again a car hits bumps and what not.

No matter what you fill cracks with, if the base material continues to move, the filler will crack. The exception is epoxy adhesive; then the epoxy will hold, and the concrete will crack. If you are sure the floor is done moving, there are many suitable patching products. I would skip the Bondo, and use a cementitious product. That way, you have the option of fixing/leveling/dressing up your floor with concrete or a topping product (underlayment or wear surface).
