Fixing driveway cracks?

What's the best stuff to fix cracks in the driveway? My 25yr drive has 1/4 wide or less cracks in it and I have used the concrete crack repairing solution sold by Menards a couple of time but it only last a year or less. Since I live in IN I want to keep the water out of the cracks so winter freeze doesn't bust it up. The cracks are too narrow to use cement based products. I'd use hot tar except it looks crappy on concrete. Anyone have any success dealing with this type of problem? I can't afford a new drive.

There are products that are for this. You wont find them at Menard's or Lowe's. If you are in the Indpls area, look up Jobsight Supply. Ask for Ryan, (he's the deco guy there). Tell him Gene Dean sent you and explain your situation. You want a good flexible crack filler. DON'T use a cementitous filler. Elite Crete Systems have really good crack fillers but they are not diy products.

I used DAP 3.0 self leveling concrete that comes in standard caulk tube sizes...I actually used it to replace rotted expansion joint strips as I couldn't find the standard expansion joint material and didn't have time to rip new pieces.

This sealant is flexible and has held up great over the months so far....going to use more for a few cracks that have appeared before winter hits...

I tried that DAP 3.0 stuff once. Went down well. Has held up great for a year, but light traffic area. So no sure if it would stay the same somewhere else. Going to try and fill my driveway expansion joints with it. Tired of pulling the weeds out of them.

Well I put down the round strips of foam as a base after cleaning out the expansion joint really well and still used alot of material. However it's held up great so far though many hard rains and many 100+ summer days. I actually went to buy more at HD yesterday but they were completely out...
