Nope no one was hurt, when I got the tank it leaked and no one had ever said it was a bad idea so I brazed it up but it still had that pinhole leak sound. That lasted about a year and a half until the grenade went off inside. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard and I was a hundred yards from the shop when it happened. I would be deaf if I was in there. It had enough force to flip the whole unit upside down

C-H has great customer service.
I once bought a used pancake compressor at HD for a few bucks.
When I asked C-H about the color of the blue paint, they insisted on sending me a can for free.

A couple of years ago a co-worker had a 30 year old compressor explode. It flew up and hit the ceiling then fell onto the hood of his 1 month old Silverado. He was putting air in a tire at the time on the opposite side of the truck. The tank had a pinhole leak.

A pinhole leak in a tank is like the threads showing on a tire, it's time to replace.
