Flag Crimp Tool

Occasionally i need to replace failed crimps on hvac motor terminals, and also capacitors. Often there is not enough room to use a standard push on crimp as it would foul the electrical cover.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a tool that produces good results?

Am thinking of trying this,

Generally speaking, a ratcheting type would be better than the plier type you linked (consistent amount of pressure every time).

Non-insulated Flag Terminal ratcheting crimp tool.
Insulated Flag Terminal ratcheting crimp tool, should you decide on this type (example for terminals).

Ratcheting flag crimpers are available on eBay. Straight from China, but produce a quality crimp. Bought a pair about 2 years for somewhere around $20 new. I have no complaints. Search eBay.

Thanks, i will look for the ratcheting ones on ebay them, only place that seems to sells them here is RS components at over $200

And a good chance the ones from RS are from China. A coworker learned that the hard way. He paid $150 and I paid around $25 shipped and the crimpers were spot on identical.
