Flame retardant paint

Looking at additives for latex paint to paint my 30-40 shop with osb walls Andy 60-34 osb walled shopped. They are working shops, one is for my private shop that see welding galore for race car repair and fab the other same conditions for my semi truck repair for my small business. No employees but family so no OSHA requirements. Not attached to my home. Sheet rock is not a option as it would be destroyed by actual work in a few weeks. Drop tin ceilings fully insulated. I am considering doing a tin floor boarder up three feet then osb coated. Full tin walls would be over budget and damage to easily for use. Pole barn construction with home shop 12ft ceiling and adjoining truck shop 14 ft ceiling. Walls done in double foam board insulation and vapor wrap on the inside. Located southern ohio

Anyone ever used paint on flame retardant. There is Few articles on making your own flame liquids cabinet

They make paint for your electrical panel mounting. I had to paint the plywood we used to mount all the panels with it. I can't remember the name, but google is our friend.

Use borax and boric acid to make a solution to spray on the wood.

Thanks, I'll look at the solution mix to see if it fits the bill, currently the entire shop is getting a remodel and want to add piece of mind to the flammable idea

You can get fire retardant treated plywood...but it will cost you...and I'm not so sure I'd want to be breathing in the air in room made of it... Of course the same could be said of OSB

How about corrogated metal roof panels? looks cool and VERY durable.

Do a search for intumescent paint. If I understand your post this is what you're looking for.

ill run a tin strip on the floor, but thats only 3 foot up. They make a additive that you can add to paint and it basically makes it intumescent paint.

it's not paint, but it may spark an idea

The boric acid will also repell termites
