Flange bearing question

Hi All. I had to pull apart the blower unit on my Scag ZTR to weld some spots ahead of leaf season. While disassembling I destroyed one flange bearing and decided to just replace the one on the housing too. Got these from the dealer - one doesn't look too bad but one is pretty off center. I know flange bearings / pillow blocks etc are self-aligning, but do these look normal? The outer one attaches to like 11/12 gauge steel at best and not sure it's ever going to align being that far off if I mounted that one.

Also, I THINK the zerk is supposed to line up w/ a hole in the outer race but can't see how that's ever going to line up with everything moving around to align. Is the grease supposed to just help the bearing move in the cage, but otherwise this is effectively sealed? That little nub thing in the photo - does it have a purpose?

Thanks!

The pin keeps it from spinning out of place, the housing it self should have a shallow groove so the grease can to to the hole in the bearing insert outter race as shown above. That bearing can be rotated 90 degrees and popped out of the flange. Doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it to me. They can be quite stiff to rotate when new

Clamp the housing in a vise and stick a rod in the bore of the bearing an push on the rod perpendicular to the bore. It will rotate. No need to beat on new bearings

Confirmed! Did not take more than my 1/2" breaker bar. Many thanks, and yet again after 35 years wrenching on this or that, I still learn something new all the time!
