Flap-sander for die-grinder

New member here, I've been lurking for a month or so. Great to find other tool-addicts out there.

While looking through the pics of tool boxes and tool storage here, I saw a few air die-grinders that had flap-sanders mounted to them. All of my flap-sanders are only rated to 4500 rpm. I have 1 dewalt wire wheel that's rated at 20,000 RPM

Can you buy hi-speed rated flap-sanders? or can you buy slow die-grinders? Most of my drills max out at around 1500 rpm - too slow for grinding/buffing

Flap sanders run at a much slower speed.
A die grinder if for grinding stones, birs and cutting wheels. They are really two very differnt tools.

The ones I have been using are rated for 30,000 rpm and are made by Merit. MSC carries them as do many other places.
