I was looking at some sets of metric flare nut wrenches, and I noticed that some of them do not include the 16x18mm size, others do. Same for the 19x21 size. What applications would use those sizes?

Wright 5 piece set - 16x18 not included

Proto - 5 piece set, no 16x18, no 19x21

Snap-on - 6 piece set includes both, 5 piece set no 16x18

Gearwrench - 6 piece set includes both

HF - 5 piece set, no 16x18, no 21

SK - 6 piece set includes both

Cman - 5 piece full polish set includes 16x18, but no 19x21

Cman - raised panel 4 piece set, no 16x18, no 19x21

I can assure you of this -- if you do NOT get the 16, 18, 19, and 21 mm sizes, EVERY application you encounter will use those sizes :lol_hitti

20mm does fit GM fuel filters and Cornwell does sell a 20mm flare nut wrench for this application.Ford and Chrysler also use 18mm on power steering lines. There is some reason why tool companies leave out 18mm including 15mm.
