I am considering the mastercool 71475 flaring tool set and looking for any input on this set. Living in roadsalt heaven I do alot of lines and am tired of using basic flaring kits. etooldirect.com has the 71475 kit for $289.00

I have never heard anything bad about that set. The people I know that have it swear by it. It's on my want list. That's not a bad price. The last time I checked Tooltopia, I think they wanted like $316 and change.

I have the master cool hydraulic complete set and it it the neatest tool I have ever used. It is worth its price in gold. I made a flair for a shop next to ours and the owner said where did you get that and ordered one on the spot on his cell phone. great great tool.

Well I dropped the cash on the mastercool set and it is awesome!!!
I received it today and changed the rusted brake and fuel lines on my plow truck and it worked great. Wish I would have bought one sooner.

I love mine. Pulled it out after a year or more of sitting to start doing the brake lines on my 47 ford last night. I have absolutely no regrets spending the money, WELL worth it!

It was nice making new fuel lines with the correct ends and fewer connections.
