Hey guys! I just picked up a neon Miller high life sign. Now there is nothing wrong with it, but it flashes or blinks. The outside lights up then the center then it all lights up. That's the way it's supposed to be. BUT it's kind of irritating! Sooo.... Is there a way to make all of it stay on at once? Something to bypass? I just want it ON. If that makes sense. Thanx for any help.

Picture of it? Is it new, old?
Neon signs I'm familiar with stay on since it's just the neon tube and high voltage transformer to light it. Apparently yours has circuitry that switches/cycles it like that. That's what would have to be modified.

I don't have a pic at the moment, but it's an older Miller high life sign. The outer "bow" lights up then high life lights up. Then they both come on at once. Then repeat. My first thought was there must be a switch that changes it, but not that I c an see.
there must be some sort of a flasher circuit in there. might be well hidden inside even

If it's old I wouldn't modify it, as you know a lot of those are worth a lot. I can see where it could get distracting though. I would be tempted to leave it off most of the time or maybe sell it for a profit?

I think it's called a sequencer and it should be independent of the transformer. Most neon signs are simply wired end to end from the transformer. That is to say each tube is in one loop. Then they all light at once.

Take a picture of the transformer/electrical portion of the sign, you cant expect help when you offer no information...

Yea that is annoying. Whatevers in between the the ****** and the neon end wires can be bypassed.
Either that take out the transformer and put in a small Ventex transformer. Size depending.
Be careful removing the rubber thumbs at wire/neon ends,
they can get petrified and easily break the electrodes. 10mm glass prolly.
Look for Stazon Blockout Paint to refresh the backs of neon if needed.
