WTF!! Why do you need a flashlite on a gun? Military I can see, maybe, doesn't it just pinpoint a target for the bad guy? You can't hunt at night, and for that intruder in your house at night why not just turn on the lights and then shoot him, and how many intruders have you shot useing your gun mounted flashlight. How many intruders did you miss cause you didn't have the flashlight on your gun? How many intruders have you shot? Thats just way over the top IMO.

You obviously have ZERO tactical training and skills...

Or real world experiences....I had two punks almost break into my house. Caught them at my front door....my SF was in my non hard hand (my sigP245 in the other). The blinding light gave me the couple seconds to dominate the situation. I got one to lay down while the other ran off. In that scenario they were unarmed and right on my threshold of my front door...I got the upper hand & waited till the local PD showed up. I didn't have to shoot anyone.

If nothing else it can give you more options than who is ever on the other side of the gun & light. It would have been a questionable shooting IMO, the PD caught the other guy 20 minutes later and they both went to jail for a bit.
