Some time back I was in Cabelas looking at flashlights. There were so many options, and good lights are not inexpensive, so I bailed and began looking into it a bit. I need a light to see what is going on nights around the house. I ended up getting a Streamlight Polystinger DS LED. It is about 150-175' from the porch to the property line and i am going to have to apologize to the neighbor, because this thing lit his place up big time. It came with a 12v and 120v power cord for the charger. Pretty neat! Given the previous post a bout battery operated drills I am going to have to get all my rechargeables together and just weigh them:bounce:

i like the streamlight 4aa is not rechargable but works great for turning renches if your trying to spotlight ***** and deer than the rechargable is the way to go. i threw my last rechargable under a drilling rig when the batt went dead after 45 min i was not happy.
