Reside in west Michigan. Purchased a commercial concrete block building 22 x 76 flat roof. Roof must be replaced. Owner never maintained the roof, Leaks like a sieve. Preferred roofer quoted 1.5 thick ISO board with white TPO. Requested quote with 3.0 thick ISO Board which added $1800 to quote 20% increase.
Is the difference worth efficiency improvement. Seem money would be better spend on siding heating system doors. Appreciate feedback based on your experiences.
