I was going through some of my old automotive tools. Of the multiple Flathead Valve Spring Compressors I have this one which stands out because it has no company name on it despite being very well made. I took it out in the sunlight with a magnifying glass to look at it closer. Only then did I realize that it was handmade because of fine file marks and small inconsistencies in the rounded edges. For something that was a very common item and could be bought in the cheap stamped steel type for very little money I was impressed by the workmanship. Perhaps a depression made or shop class project?
