Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what makes that box a "road box?"
I always thought it was only a road box if it had the locking flip down front panel to help seal against the weather.
Or are you just calling it a road box because of how you'll use it?
Thanks!
Erik
Snap on's current road box is here. Note the price. It is extremely well built and it uses friction slide instead of bb slides I believe. BB slides don't hold up bouncing up and down the road. Also note the weight of the box, 178lbs, wow!

A more common use of the term road box would be a KRA59. Friction slides, and the front cover as you described.
The the OP, great buy on the box, but if it has BB slides, you may have failures if you load the drawers heavy. Bouncing up and down the road really beats a box to death over time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but for $100, you certainly will get your money out of it. Congrats.
