I'd been using one of these cheap POS's for years, and it was far from ideal but it worked OK:
Well, awhile back one of the casters literally exploded and sent me *** over teakettle while replacing some brake pads. So I set out to find a new one. I have seen the "Tail Bone" seats by the inventor of the Bone creeper, but they were big and awkward and funny looking, and I wasn't about to pay the $150 price for one. Well, I went to a flea market this weekend, and among all the chinese wrenches and worn-out overpriced ****, what do you know! There's a Tail Bone creeper seat! I had to do a double take when I saw the tag said $20. For that, it'll do nicely. I've got a some more brake work and some front-end work to do, and I am looking forward to being able to do it sitting down. Oh, and the icing on the cake, it's 100% made in the USA.
