I bought this homemade tool box ( I assume it is homemade ) for $ 10.00 at a local Flea Market this weekend. I thought it was pretty gool and very well done.
I am building a old truck and it might work out as a battery box in the rear.

Is it all welded together? I don't see any rivets on the corners. Looks good with the angled top.
I got one a couple of years ago also, it was never finished when I got it but every thing was there. It was a enjoyable project for me finishing it off. I sourced out handles for the ends and latches for the lid. BCD

I made one exactly like that in high school shop class. Except mine was an inch taller on one side so it had a nice taper. The lid i got right so it would not close. I still have it.

It is all welded, weighs about fifteen pounds. Whoever made it was pretty skilled.

That's a great idea, putting the battery in it. I have the same thing on my pick-up. That would look a lot cooler than my black box!
