I am S-K green with Envy. I think the tray itself is S-K also, you?

I haven't even had a chance to look at the tray yet, once I got the sockets soaking in cleaner and started cleaning everything up time just slipped away and my wife wanted to go get dinner. I'll let you know tomorrow and I'll post the update pics of everything cleaned up.

Well, there are no markings on the tray. It is in great shape and painted plain gray.

Would you presume it to be original finish? or maybe describe as a brownish/gray that could represent as an older SK color? I think the shallow arched handle to that tray hints at SK, but I am not well versed as others here as to whether that style was featured by other makers as well... If that tray is 19" x 5" approx. and you see as as expendable, you make have an interested party at this end.....

The tray from my two drawer S-K toolbox doesn’t have a socket channel.

Don, I'll assume that one is the 19" x 5" nominal? I was thinking that galaxy's was looking a bit broader in the hips, but thought I'd take a shot.:lol_hitti

Here are a couple more from different boxes. I had to double check to make sure that none of them have channels for sockets.

Selfishly, if there were one with a socket channel that still fit that 19 x 5 opening, I'd actually prefer it, even if it's not "correct".......

Got this light yesterday. It looks like someone made it, what an English motorcycle hobbyist would call a “bitsa”. The socket says Hubbel. Any info would be great.a6f5860fd80b9209835735d9a9e6ace5.jpg451b204e71ea3d06aaa44b118a6c9bda.jpg

https://www.hubbell.com/ Hubbell is still very much in business. A lot of our common electrical devises-plugs,sockets etc were originally Hubble inventions. I used to deliver to Hubbells plant in Bridgeport (since moved).

Well, it's been a long time since I've gotten out to a flea market...much too long. I decided today to introduce my young one to a small local market. I've also found him to be quite the deal maker. He spent a grand total of $3 on some tools and a Hot Wheels car. It think he did pretty good. Wheeled and dealed for everything except the toy car. Here's what we got (image won't upload correctly for me right now.):

- Hot Wheels Scorpedo, still in the package
- General 6" SS Rule, still has the pocket clip/slider
- 8 Piece tips for snap ring pliers, including the Allen key
- Soap Stone Marking Holder
- Super-Grip Multi Wrench
- Snap-on Snap Ring Pliers SRPC3900
- Blue Point Snap Ring Pliers PR-12A

He's keeping it all but one of the Snap Ring Pliers. Says once we clean them up he's keeping the better of the two.

Pretty sure since it was my money I've been swindled. But it's worth it.

Thanks. I really was only after the snap ring pliers but he's quite the negotiator.

Best part of the morning was he woke me up at 0700 and had made me scrambled eggs. He was really excited to get going.
