I rarely post about ok deals I've lucked into, but I'm gonna gloat just a bit on this one :D:

Now, before a sharp eyed individual points it out, this isn't a set of Bonny crowfoot wrenches as advertised - they're Cornwells. I was pretty sure of that before I bid, as I've been kicking myself for passing up this same 14pc set at a local auction a few weeks ago - quit bidding too early, but the other guy wasn't being thrifty with his bids/buys, so I likely wouldn't have won them and certainly not for this price. Then I stumbled onto this set - they arrived today and appear new as advertised (overlooking the brand error).

Why the smile? Won 'em by .18 cents, and the set lists at $255 on the Cornwell website.

Nice score, Keg! :D

How is it that the seller failed to know they weren't Cornwell & thought they were Bonney?

Cornwell brands them with the logo and not the name, and the logo is darn small. I'm guessing he wasn't familiar with the Cornwell logo and mistakenly thought it was a "B" in a circle (although that's not a Bonney logo either). The bar they're stored on very clearly says "Cornwell" though, so he apparently didn't bother removing more than the ones off each end before selling them.

His loss, my gain!

$65 for the Snappys was a good deal too, Dave.

Think the're stolen?

average price on cornwell metrics is about $75 used give or take. I was watching them for some time before I scored my set used at $35.

Not much can go wrong with a crowsfoot and almost all used sets look new in my experience.

Nice score. I just completed my Craftsman Tri-Wing ratchet trifecta this week.
