So you hosers north of the border couldn't come up with your own tool designs so you had to steal ours. Found proof of it this weekend, Fleet of Canada 3/8" drive ratchet Mdl. 1260 (shouldn't this be metric). Just havin some fun with our brothers and sisters to the north not looking to start a border war. I know Proto made other brands in Canada also, please show em if you got em. By the way Gray tools are awesome you didn't need Proto.

I believe that Fleet was a subsidiary of Proto, and most of the line was made here.

But perhaps I am mistaking the details.

Plomb/Proto bought up a bunch of companies when they were part of Pendleton Tool Industries, before the company was sold to Ingersol-Rand.

Fleet was made by Penens, Penens was bought by Pendleton.

Penens made the exact same ratchet sold under the Vlchec name, the model 3800.
