They are on cpo for cyber monday at a really low price. The 7 inch was 44.52 and didn't meet the 50$ minimum for free shipping so i bought 2 of them. The 9 inch is a good price also

9" looks sold out. Rather have the 9" than a 7" for material removal. Why did you purchase two 7"?

Great deals. I think at least some of the Flex angle grinders and polishers are made in Germany.

Here is a wet angle grinder at a huge discount:
https://www.cpooutlets.com/flex-288...wet-grinder-with-splash-guard/flzn288896.html
$102 (lower price appears in cart)
retails for about $300 at Acme and elsewhere

How about a 4.5" for Harbor Freight pricing?
https://www.cpooutlets.com/flex-462187-l-7-12-115---6a-4-1-2-in.-angle-grinder/flzn462187.html
$13.72 in cart

And the 5", 12A model is very cheap also:
https://www.cpooutlets.com/flex-462012-le-14-11-125---12a-5-in.-angle-grinder/flzn462012.html
$36 in cart

I hope some are still made in Germany - but at those prices... hm!.
In German, "angle grinder" is pretty much synonymous for "Flex" - not many call it "Winkelschleifer". Initially it was the brand behind the tool.
2004 Flex became part of Black & Decker.
2013 Flex went to Chinese Chervon Holding.

Damn, thanks guys. I grabbed the 6A 4.5", the 7.5A 5" and the 12A 5" for $77 total before tax

As a welder buddy of mine says, I've never seen a job that paid well enough to pick up a 9" grinder. I've already got a 7" Makita and the 7/9 Fuel, but I rarely use 'em

Yeah I'm hoping like Fein the better models might still be German. But if Flex is Chervon now, odds are slim....

Found a label picture on eBay for the LE 14-11 stating "Made in China" , manufacture date 09/2018.

All the prices are up and most grinders sold out. Checked at 10AM PST.

Anyone get a shipping conformation?

Yeah, I went back to add 2 variable speed 12 amp angle grinders and the price went up when I put them in the cart so most of the grinder deals are gone.

CPO website down.
On CyberMonday.
Called and the operator told me they implemented a new website 10 days ago., pricing isn't transferring and switchboard is swamped.
Paypal link inoperable.

Someone should be looking for a new job.

Update- the 7" 15 amp grinders are now showing available on the CPO website, but the price jumped from $63 to $147. (before 30% Cyber Monday discount)
Anyone get shipping confirmation? I tried a dozen times to order two of them (for gifts) but kept getting the error message above.

Funny, I was thinking this may be a pricing mistake and CPO can be kinda sketchy about honoring such things.

Even if you argue morally they're not obligated in this instance (I have no opinion) they've always been weird about discounts and codes, requiring you to access the sale prices and/or free shipping promos only thru links they email to you.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel at least some of these (again, I have no opinion on if this would be good, bad or indifferent).

We'll see= I ordered about $75 worth of driver bits, cutoff wheels and bandsaw blades.
Kept getting "invalid shipping address" at checkout so I called. Operator was incredulous about the discounts, (list prices were over $400) but did process the order. When I called back to order the grinders the phones were swamped, never did get through.

Well damnit I can't bad-mouth CPO this time. Not only did they honor the order, they shipped very quickly

Even the 12A is MIC. I did not even realize the 12A was variable speed, so this will be my first variable speed angle grinder.

Still not bad for ~$77 for all three...

I got a shipping notification on the 9" but I have some strange billing stuff going on. They charged the amount I agreed to, then refunded me it. Then charged me 2 smaller charges that amount to more than I agreed to in cart by about 22 bucks. We'll see what happens.

I live in a newer zip code and get the “invalid shipping address” on some web sites. I just put in the former zip code that covered the area and everything goes through fine.

Are you sure the 12A is variable? I bought the same one and I do t think it is

Yeah the only way I even knew was handling the actual grinder and saw the sticker. Then I went hunting for the speed control and found the relatively inconspicuous dial at the rear.

And I paid via PP so whoo hoo, they shouldn't be able to charge any more or differently

edit: speed control dial JUST out of the photo, far right.

So far, the 44 vacuum and 2 of the 5” variable speed 12 amp grinders have arrived. I haven’t got the two 7” angle grinders or the two 4 1/2 angle or the refurbished shear. The 5 inches variable speed are made in China but seem very stout, I like the way the guard ratchets around to different positions

Yeah the guard on the 12A and 7A are probably the best I've seen. They pop on by hand and ratchet around with a firm push.

The 6A uses a crappier lever clamp.

It was actually eye-opening to have all three in front of me and unbox each one. It showed me some of what you pay for as you step up -- things that aren't always obvious if you only have ONE model in front of you....like the 12A has a rubber-ish side handle while the others are hard, thin plastic that feels cheap and brittle.

They all use an o-ring on the arbor which I found an interesting detail. It seems to me despite Chinese COO Flex is mandating the design. I can't speak to actual quality control yet, though.

All the cords seem respectable and flexible - one thing I look for immediately and a good "tell" for how much a company gives a **** when it comes to grinders.
