I sold a set of SK spline ratcheting wrenches to a bus contractor and checked with him a year later and he like the spline box end

As to the OP's question, I like reversable ratcheting wrenches which I don't think come in flex head.

Haven't used flex heads enough to have an opinion

Also, my experience is ratcheting wrenches are consumables, they don't last long in heavy use. Handy but they do break often.

I have sets of just about all styles of ratcheting wrenches in metric and SAE.

I have sets of 0 deg offset (flip-to-reverse), flex head (stubbies, standard, and xtra long) and locking flex (all my flex are also flip-to-reverse), and multiple sets of reversibles (with offset ratcheting ends). Most of mine are Gearwrench, a couple sets are Tekton, and one (my most used nowadays) is Williams.

BY FAR the most used are my reversibles. It's not even close. They just work in the most instances like a normal wrench without the extra worry of getting it trapped like you can (I have) with any flip-to-reverse style.

The 0 deg offset (flip to reverse knuckle scrapers) were the first set of ratcheting wrenches I ever got, more than 20 years ago, and I don't recall ever using a single one of them since getting my first sets of flex heads. They just take up precious space in my drawers. There simply is never an instance where I don't prefer to grab a reversible or flex instead.
Is your reversible wrench “Gearwrench”,how much did you pay for that?

How much is reversible wrench higher than non-reverse ones?

Does everyone would like to pay for that extra money to get reverse ones?

I have Gearwrench reversible in SAE and metric and I also have Williams Supercombo reversible in metric I bought used (like new) from GJ classifieds. I prefer the Williams BUT I've never had any issue with the Gearwrench.
I bought all my ratcheting wrench sets somewhere between 6 and 12 years ago or thereabouts, so I don't recall exactly what I paid for them, or if those prices then bear any reflection on today's prices, but yeah, reversible typically cost more than the (almost useless imho) zero offset flip-to-reverse but not as much as most of the flex sets.

On that note, iooks like Amazon has pretty good prices on some sets of gearwrench ratcheting wrenches right now. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001M0O166/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, I also have another metric set of reversible ratcheting wrenches that I recently bought just because the price was so low and another GJ member, dnschmidt, recommended them at that price. They seem pretty identical to my Gearwrench sets that cost a lot more. They came in a tool roll and I put them in the kit I carry on my truck mostly just for emergency use.

Hard to beat a 12pc metric set of reversible ratcheting wrenches for $40 shipped.
