Flexible Conduit connection to shed?

I had a shed delivered and I want to add some lights to the inside. My meter and electrical panel is about 3' away. I think the proper way to do this would be to dig a trench and bury conduit from the panel to the shed, but would it be possible to just run flexible conduit above ground? There is a fence that I can run the conduit along to protect it a bit.

I am a little worried that the shed is not on a permanent foundation and may move around a bit. Attaching rigid conduit seems like it could cause problems.

Any suggestions?

When I installed the dust collector in my shed, I needed to run 4" exhaust pipe, as well as 240V, 120V and compressed air into it. Here's what I did, its sealed and angled slightly to allow water to drain off the top/inside if it should ever leak. Ghetto but effective.

No, the space between the panel and the shed is going to be fenced in with a gravel surface. No mowing, no vehicle traffic, and not really any foot traffic except to access the meter and panels. I will grab a picture tomorrow to show you what I am working with.

Here is what I have. I plan on putting a fence from the shed around the power on two sides, so you can only get into it from the front of the shed.

There is no code violation in using LFNC for that application as long as it is supported correctly and not subject to physical damage.

I personally would bury some PVC conduit

For a single 20amp circuit on my shed I just dropped conduit down, added a 90, then went direct bury about 30’ with UF-B Romex. At the shed, back into conduit for a vertical exterior mounted run into a bell box. That gave me an exterior plug, which you already have - so you could use an LB and mount a box inside. I came through the back of the box through the shed wall for interior lights.

I know my shed moves so this arrangement gives me no worries about the flexibility of the connection.
