I took apart the flexible joint in my ratchet
Upon doing so, only two parts came out, the button, and the other piece that engages with the teeth.
I'm hoping someone has taken this kind of ratchet apart before and can let me know how to reassemble? Obviously the black piece with the teeth has to go in the top hole oriented to align with the teeth on the head of the ratchet, and the black piece with out the teeth is supposed to act as a button.
I've tried to reassemble it, but the piece that is the button goes all the way and doesn't stick out any. I try putting the piece with the teeth in on top first, but then I can't get the button the go in because it sticks out to far. I see the piece that is supposed to act as a button has a notch in it, so I put the piece with the teeth in at the same to align it with the notch, but then the button cannot be pressed in or out, essentially stuck.
