Flexible power drill extension

So I've stumbled across this drill extension

it looks very useful for hard to reach places, but from the reviews I get the impression that it breaks a lot.

Does anybody have experience with this type of extension? Does it work or it's just too much torque for the wire to handle?

A power screwdriver and power drill are two different animals. Power screwdrivers put out mere inches of lbs of torque compared to hundreds or even thousands of in lbs larger power drills are capable of. Let's be honest, its £1.96. With that said, I have used one like this a few times, but not for hard, heavy drilling. I use it more with my 1/4" hand held screwdriver. I guess it's a **** shoot. Will the drill even drive the screws in question in low? It's my best guess that this is designed to screw small sheet metal screws or peanut screws in/out of appliances, electrical items, stuff like that. I don't think it's designed to run 3" wood screws into studs or anything like that. I believe it is meant to install/remove screws that are in pre-drilled holes. That is what a screwdriver does. Ive used in dremel (mototool) for remote use of accessories. They do work but as mentioned for running nuts onto threads, machine screws into chassis, light screwing into predrilled holes etc. With hex bits some light drilling. Agree- NOT going to run a 1/4"x2" wood screw into a 2x4. But the flex drives do come in handy-
