what is a good brand and complete set for flexible sockets? Getting more heavier work to do and need to get a set to be more efficient. IF funds allow, may get impact set as well.

Also I have craftsman tool set with Hansen trays. I'm missing quiet a few to fill up the trays, Whats the best method to filling these up vs having to buy a whole another tool set with bunch of extra stuff I don't need. Dad bought one of the 500/600 sets that were on sale and it came with alot and bigger sizes that mine did BUT 75% were 12 point vs mine was 50/50.

Is KD a good brand?

I buy mostly Craftsman because if something breaks I can head up to the mall and swap it out then.

The new Kobalt flex sockets are great quality. I got each set for $15 on sale, and use them a few times a week. Excellent sockets, and lifetime warranty.

Snap-on will give you more flex without binding. They are the best when it comes to flex sockets.

Not sure what kind of equipment you spin wrenches on, but I'd personally save up for the impact swivels. They have less flex and are bigger, so they're not really great for underhood work. The chrome swivels will bind and break on an impact gun, however, so if you do more suspension work or industrial equipment/tractors then impacts are definitely the way to go. Without them, the impact gun at work would only see 1/3 of the use it currently gets. They are ludicrously expensive, I would not buy them for personal use, but if you bill hourly they will eventually pay for themselves.

SK makes the best swivels. Same quality and gets into the same places as Snap-on without the stupidly high price.

To fill in the Hansens, look at Blue Point. They have the odd sizes like 5/8" in 1/4" drive and are pretty cheap. They're just to cover the pegs and tame the OCD, so they don't need to be good.

I personally own an S-K set in my toolbox at work. There have been situations where I NEEDED a snap-on swivel. They work much better at steeper angles. In fact, the new minimum tool list for my company calls out, specifically, for snap on swivels.
