Love mine use them everyday at work, flexible out in sub zero temps. I roll mine up without them connected to the air compressor. 100' is my new go to hose. Used the grey hoses for some time in the trades, glad I switched nice and light.
LOVE mine, like everyone has said it's amazing in every way except it does get dirty easy and that bright green isn't going to last. Personally it doesn't bother me a bit and i'm never going to clean it. I could see how a lot of people with the crazy nice expensive OCD clean shops on this website would really dislike it though.
We have a couple of them at the shop (not on reels) I like the flexibility and lightweight. I would agree with others that they seem to be dirt magnets and hard to clean. On reels in a fairly clean shop I think they would be great.
I have one. Two issues....Mine has one area in the hose where it refuses to coil nicely/flat. I like 3/8" npt connections for the extra airflow and all the flex hoses I could find locally had 1/4" npt ends.
What I like the most is the flexibility in cold/cool weather.
Just to let you know, Napa has Flexzilla on sale until Sept. 30, 3/8x25'=$25.99, 3/8x50'=$43.99 & 1/2"x50'= $69.99 and the zilla reel 50' 3/8" retractable air hose reel w/hose for $139.00 ( I have one of these also, I'm very happy with it)
I love this hose, I think the people saying it coils when hand coiling where trying to coil it up with air in the hose. I let the air out of my lines after job and it hand coils easily.
Think I am going with a 1/2" flexzilla whip hose (main line is 3/8" with 3/8" NPT threads) since it is the only option with 3/8" NPT threads. My only concern is the picture shows no swivel but description says it has a swivel. Going with 6ft whip so I minimize connection dragging over $100,000 cars
