Does anyone have any experience with or comments on this product? Comes in flexible 20.5" x 20.5" squares, is somewhat cushioned and appears to be a good alternative to hard plastic tiles. Wondering how it would stand up to the weight of tool cabinet, etc. Available from several sources to include Rubber Flooring Inc., Flooring Inc. and Garage Flooring Inc.

"Rubber Flooring Inc., Flooring Inc. and Garage Flooring Inc." all the same people.

They have several different flex tiles. We do as well. Others like Armorpoxy do too. They look actually VERY similar to these.

The real question here is PVC vs Polypropylene tiles and which is best for you

PVC

Softer
More water tight
Quieter
Stains from Tires
Often Jig Saw Pattern
Great in industrial applications.

Polypropylene

Underlayment suggested -- landscape fabric for noise.
Allows the floor to breath
Quality such as RaceDeck or TrueLock HD not as susceptible to stains
Square edges
Can be used in commercial environments but I do not like them under forklifts etc.
Does not provide great protection to substrate


PVC also has several sub categories. 'Soft' tiles are awesome for woodworking and other shops, harder ones are better for high traffic garages, jack stands etc.
