They appear to be black metal on the one I just picked up at sears (for $35)

I'd pricematch but after the $5 off coupon and the $20 of points I got, i'm not sure if it would help me or hurt me

The ends are black anodized aluminum, not plastic.

I replaced all of my air hoses with these and can't believe I waited so long to do it?!

The closest Tractor Supply is about 100 miles from me. Any coupon codes for free shipping?

I added Flexzilla whip hoses to my air tools, and they are great. The hose protectors are plastic, the actual fittings are aluminum.

The hose is so light and flexible. The first couple times I used the air tools I kept reaching behind me to grab the hose and click it back on the tool. But then realized it was already connected. The Flexzilla almost makes the tool feel like a "hoseless" tool, it's so light and flexible you don't even know it's there. Big difference between the Flexzilla and a heavy/inflexible rubber hose.

I guess my only complaint is those things are grease magnets. The first time you use them, you can forget about the clean green neon, they get dirty and greasy quick.

Drove down even though they were out of stock and picked up a rain check.

Thanks for teh heads up.

I've been wanting to try this hose for a while.

I have a set of Milton ends on the bench just waiting for it.
