Floating header

By some miracle of physics, my garage header is floating. The king studs on both sides have rotted to the point where they are 1/2" off the floor.

I jacked up the garage, poured a new slab and replaced the sill plate (the garage is 100 years old and was built directly on dirt).

I need to frame a garage door. Should I rerframe with the header in place, or should take the entire wall apart, build a new wall and push it up into the space.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I would reframe in place. lots easier than trying to slide in a floppy wall. replace the king/jack studs as needed. we're talking the last picture? or knocking that out and putting a larger opening?

I am just talking about the last picture. I will will reframe. Seems like the smart thing. Thanks.
