wondering what does everyone like to use to clean an oily mess off their floors?
my shop has epoxy coated floor.. i really trying not to buy that 40lb container of ZEP powder for $140.

i dont have floor drains, im pretty much stuck with mop and bucket style cleaning.

It works, but it can leave residue streaks on epoxy if it's not rinsed well.

Good Thread..

I also would be interested in what others use. I just moved a couple of my machines in today and moped the floor with water only it still left water spots even after I used a towel to dry (photo doesn’t show much because there is a 12mill clear 40mill total coat).

Due to my equipment (I have a lot that can’t be moved around) what would dry and clean fast without spots?

Mop and shine>?? Or what do you guys suggest?

im not concerned about it being "showroom" clean. just trying to get this reoccurring mess controlled with something other than the $100+ zep cleaner. afterall what i have is a shop, and its not a showroom.

At my old job we just used the equivalent to simple green. Or if we ran out we just used car soap. We had one of those floor cleaning machine looks like a zamboni

washed my floor today with cheap, no name, "degreaser" laundry detergent. worked very well. i did have scrub some heavily soiled areas though. i would call it a success
