So I'm getting ready to do my 750sqft 2 car garage floor with epoxy or polyurea full broadcast which I planned to buy from one of the vendors here however I chatted with a local floor coating company about the job. He highly advised me to not do the job whether or not he gets the work due to a high failure rate from improper prep work.
I plan to follow prep to a "T" however he quoted me $3100 with a lifetime warranty on a FB coating which breaks down to around $4.15sqft is that reasonable for the work and prep with warranty?
It will cost me north of $2000 for the materials if I do the floor not counting prep and patch. The company has been around 20yrs with a great reputation also.
What should I do?

Hi, $4.15 is a fair price for a properly installed job. As stated before we, along with some other reputyvendores here, also own local install companies and clients underestimate the costs of vehicles, insurance, workman's comp, downtime, warranty reserves, marketing expenses, material waste, equipment costs and repairs, etc. if the installed price is on your budget go for it.

Your $2,000 is a bit high though for a full broadcast set of materials. Feel free to contact us directly at below for a quote.

Thanks!

The vendor prices were on the websites with GJ promo's applied $1800-$2100 was the average for a FB setup.
