I have a attached and detached garage I want to cover with epoxy type floor coating. Living in Alberta Canada we have some harsh climates. Lots of road salt. Also in the detached i do mechanical work on vehicles and Powersports. My thoughts are grind, primer, epoxy base grey, full broadcast, urethane clear. Also thinking of going with legacy ..... Thoughts ?

Absolutely. Pay the extra for the CR top coat and give Scotty the temperature ranges.

So I had my mind made up to get the legacy epoxy coating with the primer and clear coat. So till I get it to my door step in Alberta Canada it will cost just under 1000.00. That's getting it shipped to the border and driving down to get it. So on the fence now. Have a few questions. Is the primer needed? No one else really seem to push it? Any other quality options less expensive? Anyone know of a quality floor epoxy that they sell in canada? I search but came up with nothing.

My concrete will be a year old in oct.

Turblue,

Most quality manufacturers will recommend a primer.

Tnemec is sold in Canada, if you give me your postal code and/or address I can get a shipping cost to you if interested.
