Floor Color Thoughts: Orange?

I'm considering what color to epoxy my floor. Initially, I'd thought about using a darker color but there's been much talk here about how difficult it is to work on a dark floor (lost nuts/bolts, etc). So I resorted to photography for guidance.

The idea is that a good background color is one that is opposite of the color of your car. Most of my cars are blue (1 dark, 2 medium and 1 light) so that would point to orange.

Wolverine offers one color of orange, Safety Orange.

I'm a little trepaditious of 576 square feet of orange, though. I'm worried about it being too bright and I haven't been able to locate any photos of an orange garage floor.

Thoughts? Any photos of garages done in Safety Orange, or any other orange?

EDIT: The garage will be drywalled, probably painted something close to white.

maybe put down an orange tarp and see how it looks?..........not the same shade but may give you a better idea of the effect..........two tone maybe? orange and cream for example and complimentary shade on the wall?........post some pics when done......

Ok, my brief affair with orange is done. I think it'd be a poor idea; it could get obnoxious and it would be a negative during resale.

So I'm now considering Sand Beige or Island Tan. At this moment I prefer the Sand Beige.

As for flakes, I could continue with the orange thought and do orange and black.

I could match the house and do Burgundy and Gray or Burgundy and White.

Check out the sand beige as an accent color here. Going with the house color is a safe bet (as long as it gets painted the same later on) and looks real sharp when the doors are open.

I was surprised at how much I liked the white. You could do the white and use orange flakes. I'm not sure if the orange and sand beige would be a good match.

It looks like you're looking at a color similar to our Sandstone color...

I checked around but can't find any pictures of a floor done with the Safety Orange. Almost all of the sale with that color have been commercial jobs with just a 3 quart kit of the orange, which leads me to think that it was used for trim or lines. Was planing on using pics of your orange floor - but it looks like that's not going to happen

After the various shades of gray the sand beige is the most popular color of LiquaTile, that particular tint just compliments a lot of other colors.
