This may have been discussed before, but the keywords I searched for didn't really turn anything that really matched up.
I'm starting a major garage remodel (hopefully I can whip up a "garage build" thread at some point). I plan on having a dedicated shop area that I would like to have a painted/coated/epoxy-type floor. I will be leaving the actual install to professionals, so don't have the usual questions regarding prep and so forth (although I have been educating myself on the types of materials and installation details here).
What I am wondering is what colors folks have went with and the results they have had. I'm not planning on doing any patterns, checkered flags, etc. This will be a working shop (mostly working on motorcycles), and a gym area, but I was trying to avoid the usual "gray" or "gray with flakes" flooring.
Does a darker color work, or does it "**** all of the light out of the room"? Gray wouldn't kill me, but was looking for experiences with alternative colors.
The shop is going to be a mix of new foundation and old existing concrete, so I don't think a stain-type thing would work well, although it is a cool look.
