How do you guys & gals store your floor dry?

Leave it in the bag and stand it the corner and scoop some out when needed?

separate it into containers and place it around the shop?

I keep mine in a bucket with a lid. If I have more than a bucket full, I find another bucket and lid.

Decent scoops are available at any restaurant supply house.

Ironically (I guess)...I use a reclaimed kitty litter bucket. And a $1 dog food scoop.

Cheapo 16 gallon pet food roll around bin with lid and small scoop works well. Maybe $16 on Chewie.com. Walmart and Amazon were a bit more. I like the clear so you can see how much is in it.

I keep a bunch in a 16 gallon steel open head drum with a scoop and then I keep a 5 gallon race jug of it full too handy to throw in my service truck when I need it, you can get pretty much the entire bag into a 5 gallon jug.

Buckets with the lids with the rubber o-ring, like paint buckets and most others, will also keep things like concrete mix, grout and mortar mix from hardening, like they will even in an unopened bag. A lot easier to scoop something out of a bucket than a bag without making a mess. Dump it in and get rid of the bag. Also, it’s a good idea not to store stuff right on your floor, an exception being stuff in plastic buckets. Don’t know about everyone else, but most of my buckets are from dumpsters. You just have to let any remaining paint dry and can easily peel it out. Washing’s not necessary.

13 gallon trash can with a hinged lid. Plastic drinking cup for scooping some out when needed.

Picked up a couple of 5 gallon buckets from ace hardware today, had a $5.00 off coupon so it wasn't to hard on the wallet.
