Finally had my 26x26 slab poured this past week. Today the guys showed up to lay the row of blocks. The floor did not have any sealer put on it.
I'm looking at ideas on how to finish this floor once the garage is built. I may park vehicles in there this winter so salt will be present.
Whatever product is used would have to be available here in Canada. Open to just about any idea that won't cost a fortune. Paint, tile, stain...etc. one thing to mention is that I will have a 4-post lift in the garage that will be mobile. Mostly stored in one corner with my old truck on it, but if I do any work, I will be rolling it out.
Any kind of prep need to be done to a new floor? Do I have to wait a minimum amount of time before finishing?
Also I did have vapour barrier installed before the slab was poured.
