Floor grinder question

I recently removed the vct tile in my garage. A lot of them where already coming off by themselves. For the ones that where still stuck to the floor I put dry ice on them and they popped right up after a minute or two. There is a small amount of adhesive left on the concrete in some spots. A local rental place has a carbide abrasive disk that can be attached to a floor buffer. Supposedly it works to remove adhesive. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with one.
