So I'll be grinding my garage floor soon and will be doing the edges with my 4" makita angle grinder.

I need a dust shroud for it. What dust shroud will fit and isn't a lot of money?

I just finished the epoxy on my garage. I used a grinder with no shroud. It DEFINITELY made a lot of dust, but without the shroud, I was able to see where I was grinding a little better. It worked out for me. Just make sure to wear a respirator.

I saw a video on you tube of a guy who made one. I'm going to give it a shot using a clear plastic container.

Use a GFCI if going wet with a hand grinder. :shocking:

I always use gfci outdoors and in the garage.

Just installed a new gfci.

Here's a simple solution if you don't want to mess with making your own. Dust shroud

I used one of those "Dusties" on a 7" grinder, when you attach a vac hose to it the shroud flexes- makes it difficult to vacuum up the dust due to its inconsistent contact with the floor. Hopefully the 4" version works better since it's smaller and should flex less.
