Good day to everyone,
I bought a house with a 16' X 30' detached workshop a couple of months ago.
It has a raised concrete slab, which is good, but the concrete had the surface finish of a county fair funnel cake...
Lumpy, bumpy and full of divots. Rolling an engine stand with a 440 Chrysler was not going to happen easily and was going to be a dangerous proposition.
So, last weekend I rented an EDCO 10" Grinder and cut the surface 1/8" to 3/8" to remove the roughness and a crappy coating of paint ( No oily spots to deal with though - good for me
).
The surface left by the EDCO grinder is not quite as smooth as I would like, as there are lots of edge marks and the finish is not quite where it needs to be for an epoxy coating.
What is the next best step to get closer to applying floor paint ?
