My new 30x40' shop uses a pre-stressed concrete plank floor which is suspended on a concrete fountation thus there is an upper level and lower level. I'm planning on radiant floor heat. I've got a friend that says he can install the floor heat. I trust his judgement but wonder if this is for the experts or can we do this?
I don't know what I don't know.

Suggestion: When I did my shop, I had a heating guy consult with me. He told me what he wanted me to do (laying out the floor insulation, laying out the pex), adn he checked out my work. He also did all of the connections, testing, built the manifolds, and hooked it all up. Saved me a fair amount of money.
