Hi everyone..Long time lurker, first time poster...I am in the process of getting the new shop floor heat hooked up and I have several questions.
1st. I am feeding this with a Central Boiler that also feeds the house. The pipe is in to the shop and I have 4 loops in the floor. The shop is 32x40 with a 12x40 lean to/overhang. I was told several ways to "hook it up" Use a mixing valve with the return water, add another pump and plate heater for its own setup, nothing other than the water in floor. It will be its own "closed" system
Is there an advantage of using the extra pump/heater or not?
I used 2" insulation under the pad and put it down the edges also to keep the frost away from floor edges at bottom of wall. Is this sufficiant? I guess to late if not
could get some pics later as things progress
Thanks
