Floor in finished garage office

All,

I've recently framed out an office/craft room for my kids into my garage. We'd like it to be a nice, finished space.

Any suggestion on what to use for flooring or what my options might be? I live in Wisconsin, so it gets cold and I don't think this slab was ever insulated. I'd prefer to create some type of thermal break from the concrete if possible... and then flooring. Any thoughts?

Yes you can, I live in Michigan, installed them when I finished my basement. Installed carpet over top of them.

Did you guys use the R+ insulated ones or just the regular ones that are 7/8" thick?

I was going to suggest something like that and then add some carpet squares on top. Something gets spilled or ruined, pull up and replace but still have a plpace where the kids can get right on the floor.

These are for the garage and to make it usable I need the warmth

I used Delta-FL in my basement, and it worked awesome. it's a sheet or roll with tape to provide a complete seal. You can add XPS and then plywood over for warmth. Made a huge difference in the humidity and temperature.
