I have been lurking here for quite a while, reading most peoples experiences and just finished putting in two floors. My detached garage is 30;x40' and we put epoxy on it with a fine grit (I live in Ontario and the floor gets wet all winter) It looks great !!! The other garage (attached to the house) got VCT in black/white checkerboard pattern. That looks fantastic as well, 5 coats of sealer and I am thinking about renting a buffer.
Here are photos of the epoxy floor, I will take some of the VCT in a few days. Right now all my stuff from the large garage is in the small garage.
