Floor jack and pinch welds

Has anyone tried one of those things that replaces the saddle on a floor jack? It is shaped like a rectangle with a cut in the top to fit around pinch welds on the chassis.

I have a rubber saddle on my floor jack so it just "conforms" to the chassis and I don't worry about it. Those pinch weld things look like they would work great but also be a pain to align.

I do the same - my AC Hydraulics jack has a rubber pad that cushions the welds. My welds are pretty close to the edge of the rocker, so it would be tough to keep it steady.

I've got that one from Eastwood. No complaints. I hadn't thought about the other method mentioned.

I have the Eastwood unit also. Works okay. If you can get it cheaper than Eastwood, go for it.
