Just wondering if someone could help ID this jack.
Im sure hiball will chime in, atleast i hope so!

Picked it up for free in a 'bulk waste clean up day' event.

Pretty dirty, wont hold pressure, it just falls down.

Any help is appreciated!

I have one almost exactly the same. I bought it probably 20 years ago and i can't tell you what brand it was. Definitely import.

Mine was only picking up half a stroke and was annoying as hell.

Just yesterday cleaned it up and bled it.

Here is how I did it.

I jacked it all the way up and pulled the screw from the left side of the valve body and this let the pressure out and a mess of fluid came out.

I fed new hydraulic fluid into the open port as I slowly lifted to full extension the now lowered saddle.

I capped it off and then opened the handle all the way and pumped it 10-15 times. I had a jack you bled this way...not sure if this one does or not.

It now works perfectly.

...don't touch the right side with the flat screw slot in it as that is a ball check valve and spring. (actually you might pull it and clean it) I almost lost the tiny ball that popped out.

:dunno: Thats the Craziest thing iver ever heard of.. LOL Glad it worked..

To bleed these jacks you simply, Make sure there is enough oil in the Resevoir, Turn the handle to the Release position, Pump the Jack 5-10 times (This flushes the valves with oil) then simply turn the knob to the Lift position and cycle it. If you start opening valves under Lift Arm load your gonna end up with Oil everywhere and balls a flying. That is Problematic at best... Ric... Bled the system but he did it backwards, instead of flushing the normal way he reversed the flow of hydraulic fluid and exited it out the Valve cap versus back into the resevoir.
