I picked up this floor jack at a garage sale for $2.00. The floor jack has no data tag. I would guess it is a Hein Werner, but not sure of the make and model.
I purchased Bar's Jack Oil that stop leaks at automotive store and filled the reservoir. It took half the bottle of the fluid.
I got the jack to pump up, but is it common that pumping action only take place when the handle is about 30 degree from the horizontal?
The floor jack must have been sitting outside for sometime as I notice some "blue tarp" remnants. Are there any servicing I should attempt to do, as I'm a first timer at floor jack repairing.
I did open up the check valve thinking it was the fill hole, does the rubber cap for the long spring needs to be replaced?
